Interesting figures on world population

At the suggestion of Jim Marrs I have done some calculations on world population. Now I know this is a little askew because of some relevant factors I haven’t… factored, however I present for your consideration the following information:

According to U.S. Census data (the gummint, always a good source for reliable information)the world population is about 6,790,000,000 right now.

According to city-data.com, the state of Texas has a solid land mass of about 266,000 miles.
266,000 divided by 6,790,000,000 equals 3.917 square miles per person, or about 4 each.

According to Population Action International the world average sized family is 4. 4 people times 4 square miles is 16 square miles for each family.
Let’s say that walls, streets, yards, etc are 3/4 of that figure. We all need a garden. So that would leave 4 square miles of INTERIOR space per family.

Now, there would need to be buildings for infrastructure maintenance, and maybe some buildings which are not for families (temples of some sort, gymnasiums), but remember that this is relating to a livable land mass the size of Texas only!

Are there any flaws in my figures?
P.S. This is my first post. I hope it’s in the right section.

Miriam’s reply: Love the post! We all need to to think about space, what we use as humans, how many of us there are. These things will show us HOW we muct live now so we can live tomorrow. Love Miriam
